Extending the functionality of Tekla is possible thanks to access to the object library via Open API, which works in the .NET environment and offers additional possibilities of software interaction of the program with the operating system or file system. For example, you can create a function that reads information about the design parameters or its geometry from an external XLS file and then automatically generates the corresponding 3D model on this basis.
